Gardening Alert! The truth about herbicides.

I had the misfortune early this spring of experiencing an off target herbicide damage to my tomatoes. I brought home some barnyard manure from our family ranch thinking I was being as organic as you could be. The pastures were treated with an herbicide last year to keep weeds down from the hay crop. The manure was worked into the organic soil, but it morphed the tomato leaves and branches. Make sure your organic garden stays that way by double checking every “ingredient” that comes into your soil!
