Just a couple simple steps each time you cook will keep your grill fired up and ready to go.
Clean the Grate
If you have a gas grill, make sure it’s turned off. Before you add any foods, use a grill brush to thoroughly clean any debris off of the grate.
Add Some Oil
After cleaning, lightly spray or rub the grates with cooking oil. If the grill is hot be very careful not to put your hands near the cooking surfaces.
Leave The Char Behind
When you’re done cooking, remove any large or obvious bits of food but leave the char on the grate of the grill. This will help protect your grill from rust between cooking sessions.
